30,000 oz.
Several months ago the comex had 303 tonnes of total gold. Today, the total inventory rests at 245.25 tonnes for a loss of 57 tonnes over that period.
In silver, the open interest rose by 1328 contracts despite the fact that Friday’s silver price was down by 12 cents. The total silver OI continues to remain extremely high with today’s reading at 184,005 contracts now at multi-year highs despite a record low price. This dichotomy has been happening now for quite a while and defies logic. There is no doubt that the silver situation is scaring our bankers to no end.

The war in East Ukraine is routinely presented in western mainstream media as a humanitarian tragedy in which both sides are guilty of harming civilians, but this is, in fact, not true.
The reality is, it has been a very one-sided affair with the Ukrainian side deliberately shelling and individually terrorizing defenseless civilians, in a calculated effort to lure Russia into a larger conflict, a cynical and vicious strategy condoned and egged on by neo-con elements in the US and the EU.
If the general public in Europe and America knew what was happening they would never allow it, but they do so only because the media, also dominated by neo-con views, has not reported the situation honestly.
The rebels have never engaged in this sort of criminal warfare, and in all likelihood, never would, because it requires a particularly venal world view to perpetrate something like this, and most people simply would not do it. Neo-cons and neo-nazis can push this sort of thing – most people could not bring themselves to do it.

In one of his first official acts, Sri Lanka’s newly elected
president, Maithripala Sirisena, announced that his country’s
importation of the world’s most used herbicide, glyphosate, was to be
banned immediately and that the release of stocks already in the country
was to be halted as well.
As noted by the Sustainable Pulse web site, Sirisena is a farmer and former Sri Lankan health minister. When announcing his decision, he said the chemical herbicide was responsible for a growing number of chronic kidney disease patients in the country, adding that the decision would
further protect the country’s farming community.
In Sri Lanka, chronic kidney disease now affects some 15 percent of the working-age population in the country’s northern regions. That amounts to a total of around 400,000 patients. Some 20,000 people die annually of the illness, Sustainable Pulse reported.
