From "Fake News" To "Fake Intelligence"
Jim and I have received many panicked calls and e-mails regarding Martin Armstrong’s latest article. In it he again claims gold will collapse to below $1,000 per ounce and thus the fearful communications.
In this very short article, Armstrong questions whether India will begin gold confiscation suggesting door to door searches for “tax evaders”. He suggests if a gold confiscation is undertaken, the Indians will switch to purchasing silver …something the BIS has not thought about yet. The logic of a switch to silver is a good one, surprising considering some of what he has opined in the past…

A major threat to liberty is the assault on the right to discuss political issues, seek out alternative information sources, and promote dissenting ideas and causes such as non-interventionism in foreign and domestic affairs. If this ongoing assault on free speech succeeds, then all of our liberties are endangered.
One of the most common assaults on the First Amendment is the attempt to force public policy organizations to disclose their donors. Regardless of the intent of these laws, the effect is to subject supporters of controversial causes to harassment, or worse. This harassment makes other potential donors afraid to support organizations opposing a popular war or defending the rights of an unpopular group.

India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi is just another political hack. Like politicians in general, he does not understand economics. He does not understand the law of unanticipated consequences. He does not understand that government is dumb.
On November 8, he unilaterally and without warning declared the two highest value paper currency units obsolete: the 500-rupee ($7) and 1,000-rupee notes ($14). They will no longer be money in 50 days, he announced. That will be on December 28.

Is the next U.S. Supreme Court Justice going to be Ted Cruz? As wild as that might sound, there is buzz that it might actually happen. We all remember the bitter words that were exchanged between Ted Cruz and Donald Trump during the Republican primaries, but since that time they have mended fences, and Cruz ultimately ended up endorsing Trump. And Trump has shown that he is willing to work with his former rivals. He has already chosen Ben Carson to be his Housing Secretary, for a while there it looked like Mitt Romney was the leading contender to be Secretary of State, and on Monday Carly Fiorina actually met with Trump about a potential position in his administration. So just because Ted Cruz and Donald Trump clashed on the campaign trail does not mean that Trump would hold a grudge.

In a development with the shocking potential to upend the U.S. presidential election, ten Electoral College electors have requested further insight into President-Elect Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia to determine “whether Mr. Trump is fit to serve as President of the United States.”
Led by Christine Pelosi, daughter of Democratic House leader Nancy Pelosi, the group of ten electors penned an open letter to Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, stating:

Surface Temperatures Plunge – the Great Pause Continues
Last year’s El Nino phenomenon temporarily provided succor to climate alarmists, who were increasingly bothered by the “Great Pause” – the fact that the tiny amount of warming experienced since the last cooling cycle ended in the late 1970s had apparently stopped. Despite trace amounts of CO2 in the atmosphere continuing to climb, mother nature decided to disobey alarmist models and temperatures went sideways for about 20 years (or even longer, depending on the data set).

A handheld GPS Receiver is an excellent navigation tool and they come with a wide variety of form factors, features, and options for many different intended uses. Being a ‘modern’ survival site, we certainly acknowledge this particular high-tech gadget and its wide array of functionality and usefulness in our lives today.
while a compass, map, and ‘know-how’ will certainly provide a near ‘bullet proof’ backup, lets talk about the handheld GPS, how they work, their many uses, and which one that you have (or would like to have)…

Did The Washington Post Once Again Promote ‘Fake News’ With Regard to Russian Election Interference?
by Michael Krieger, Liberty Blitzkrieg:
In its recent hysterical tirades against the ambiguous plaque of ‘fake news,’ mainstream media outlets are engaged in a well known psychological practice known as projection. Here’s a quick description of Psychological Projection:
Psychological projection is a theory in psychology in which humans defend themselves against their own unconscious impulses or qualities (both positive and negative) by denying their existence in themselves while attributing them to others. For example, a person who is habitually rude may constantly accuse other people of being rude. It incorporates blame shifting.

In 2012 I wrote a book called “The Coming Bond Market Collapse”, in that book I predicted that the bond market would begin to collapse by the end of 2016. Clearly, this prediction has started to come true. However, in all candor, I never dreamed that the Ten-year Treasury yield would plummet to 1.3%. Neither did I ever imagine that over thirteen trillion dollars’ worth of global sovereign bonds would have a negative yield, as was the case this past summer.
The Book’s assumption was that the bursting of the bond bubble would be caused by a change in global central banks’ monetary policy or through the eventual achievement of their inflation targets. At this juncture-at least in the U.S. — we have both. The Ten-year Treasury note has risen 80% since July based on both the return of inflation and the Fed’s desire to raise interest rates.
