At least 22 states are facing budget shortfalls thanks to a combination of fiscal mismanagement and falling oil prices. The negative impact on the public sector has been dramatic suggesting that in the event of a sustained economic downturn, citizens' patience for austerity could wear thin leading to political instability and social unrest.

All hell broke out in the credit markets during the overnight hours last Thursday morning, I’ll bet you didn’t even notice it. Before getting into the meat of this piece, it is important to understand “what’s important”. The press constantly harps on the “Dow Jones this or the S+P that”. People come home from work and turn on their TV’s to see what “the market” did. Others have their smart phones or computers at work set to display the stock markets to keep themselves informed.
I am going to tell you, the stock market(s) are merely a side show to the grand Big Top circus of the credit markets. This is true in the U.S., all of Europe and Asia, it is true everywhere. This is the case because the credit (bond) markets are so much larger than the equity markets. The world revolves around credit. Everything revolves around credit. Our daily lives will be turned upside down when the credit markets seize up, and yes, I said “when”, not “if”.

They are not only “too big to fail,” but too big to contain. The derivatives have not been stopped or controlled; leveraging ratios are still out of control; and bank runs could happen at anytime, subjecting big banks to desperate calls on cash they would be unable to fulfill; apparently everything they have is loaned out and sometimes demanded back “each and every day.”
The entire thing is a dangerous high wire act that looms over our otherwise ordinary lives with great peril.

A new small robot will be used to inspect the condition of melted nuclear fuel at the second reactor of the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear power plant as early as this summer, marking the first full-scale probe since the disaster caused by the massive earthquake and ensuing tsunami in 2011.
The use of the robot, which is now being developed, will mark the initial step toward removal of the melted fuel from Tokyo Electric Power Co.’s nuclear facility, which may begin in 2021, according to sources close to TEPCO and other related entities.
The results of the inspection will be used to help work out the details of a design for the robot tasked with removing the fuel.

Officials have revealed that about 20 sei whales were found beached in the southern coasts of Chile. Foreign scientists discovered the whales off the Gulf of Penas, informing the National Fisheries Service of the incident.
This isn’t the first time that whales have been found dead along the 2,400-mile coast of the South American country but this is the first instance that sei whales have beached in Chile. This first occurrence definitely has the attention of environmental experts but more so because the sei whale is an endangered species by the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
The whales were already rotting when Vreni Haussermann and colleagues discovered them. None of the whales have been injured so their deaths have been tentatively associated with a virus. It is also possible that they may have succumbed to red tide, swept away by currents and taken to Chile.
In his 15 years in the area, Haussermann said he’s never seen anything like it.

We still only found just a small handful of kelp and algae out of 600 known species . We have to hunt to find any species to take a picture of . The chances of finding the same species anywhere else is tiny we still never seen any sea cucumbers or sea squirts or sea fans or large snails or rocks full of snails and limpets etc etc or life in tidal pools . Underwater life is clinging for the time being but we are not even trying to stop fukushima the homeless are but they can,t read or write .
Out of 70 species of sea anemones we have found 5 species collectively throughout the coast lines but only 2 species on these Islands today and they are very few and very random . The white sea anemones adults are still missing off the rocks along the shore line around the BC Canadian coast but how interesting we found baby white sea anemones in Browning Pass, on rocks for 300 ft out of the water , yet we never seen white sea anemones anywhere else out of water like they use to be for millions of years pre Fukushima.

The Average Age Of A Minimum Wage Worker In America Is 36
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 05/11/2015 - 20:25 Did you know that 89 percent of all minimum wage workers in the United States are not teens? At this point, the average age of a minimum wage worker in this country is 36, and 56 percent of them are women. Millions upon millions of Americans are working as hard as they can (often that means two or three jobs), and yet despite all of their hard work they still find themselves mired in poverty. One of the big reasons for this is that we have created two classes of workers in the United States. This shows how worth...less...the Dollar has become...

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 05/11/2015 - 19:23 "The White House’s story might have been written by Lewis Carroll: would bin Laden, target of a massive international manhunt, really decide that a resort town forty miles from Islamabad would be the safest place to live and command al-Qaida’s operations? It was inevitable that the Obama administration’s lies, misstatements and betrayals would create a backlash... High-level lying nevertheless remains the modus operandi of US policy, along with secret prisons, drone attacks, Special Forces night raids, bypassing the chain of command, and cutting out those who might say no." - Seymour HershMore Lies from the White House...

If you’re “Ready for Hillary” in 2016, you might as well just admit that you’re ready for more evil because nearly every top donor to Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea’s Clinton Foundation, which is driving Hillary Clinton’s bid for the presidency, is a multinational corporation or other organization pushing for more centralized control over food, medicine, energy and/or finance.
A brief look at the top donors to the Clinton Foundation reveals that a Hillary Clinton presidency will focus on spreading more genetically-modified organisms (GMOs) and crop chemicals into places like Africa; pushing more junk food on the masses; perpetuating the privately-owned Federal Reserve’s fiat currency Ponzi scheme; and signing more people up for a lifetime of sick care with pharmaceuticals and vaccines.
In other words, it’ll be a whole lot more of the same under Hillary, just like it’s been under Obama and just like it was under Bush Junior, Bush Senior, and many other former presidents. Take a look at the donor list and see for yourself which industries will presumably be given priority treatment from a Hillary presidency based on the large cash sums they’re contributing to see Hillary Clinton occupy the White House.

Approximately $8 billion in debt securities are affecting a popular investor’s service decision about one of biotech’s biggest. Investing credit rating company Moody’s has affirmed that Monsanto’s new rating is being downgraded from ‘neutral’ to ‘negative’ following Syngenta’s announcement that it has refused Monsanto’s unsolicited bid of CHF449 per Syngenta share in a combination of cash and stock.
Monsanto’s offer would have valued another biotech bully at a mere US$20 billion paid in cash. For investors in Monsanto, Moody’s calls their aggressive attempt at takeover a “heightened event risk” due to their more aggressive financial policy. Indeed – Monsanto’s financial policy seems to match their aggressive actions elsewhere – from bullying federal judges to trying to orchestrate a trade monopoly through the Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP).

How Wal-Mart Makes An Instant 65,724% Profit Selling... California Water
Submitted by Tyler Durden on 05/11/2015 - 22:25 Wal-Mart is facing questions tonight after CBS13 learns the company draws its bottled water from a Sacramento water district during California’s drought. "Sacramento sells water to a bottler, DS Services of America, at 99 cents for every 748 gallons - the same rate as other commercial and residential customers. That water is then bottled and sold at Walmart for 88 cents per gallon, meaning that $1 of water from Sacramento turns into $658.24 for Walmart and DS Services."/
