Russian Pilots Executed While Parachuting: Turkish Media

If Putin was angry when Turkey shot down a Russian plane, which may or may not have crossed Turkish territory - reports on both sides are conflicting - he will be absolutely living to learn that, according to Turkey's Dogan News, the Russian pilots who had parachuted in an attempt to save their lives after the plane was shot down, had been executed while parachuting down by local rebels, which considering the video released earlier belonged to the Free Syrian Army, are same "rebels" who are funded directly by the CIA.

Russian Search Helicopter Downed Near Syrian Border By US-Made Anti-Tank Missile, Rebels Claim

Update: Alleged footage of the crash site inside.

Case-Shiller Home Prices Rise At Fastest Pace In 6 Months (Despite NAR Reporting Falling Prices)

After 3 straight months of home price declines, August and now September have seen the usual seasonal pattern unfolding as Case-Shiller reports 0.61% rise in September (double the +0.3% expectations). Of course this runs in the face of NAR's 4 month decline in median home prices, but who's quibbling. Notably, 2015 is playing out almost exactly the same as 2014... winter is coming.

Gold & Silver Surge Off Goldman's "Crucial Levels"

Q3 GDP Revised Higher As Inventories Surge Again, Personal Consumption Disappoints

A month ago the US economy was said to have grown only 1.5%, driven by a long-overdue and perhaps welcome correction to inventories. Moments ago we got the first revision to the Q3 GDP, which as consensus expected rose from 1.5% to 2.1%, however for all the wrong reasons because while personal consumption actually decline from a 3.2% increase, and a 2.19% contribution to the GDP bottom line, it is now said to have grown only 3.0%, adding 2.05% to the final GDP print.

Tiffany Tumbles After Missing EPS, Slashing Guidance; Blames Strong Dollar, "Volatile, Uncertain Conditions"

Once upon a time, luxury jewelry retailer Tiffany was seen as the bellwether for the global market, however not so much in the New Paranormal when as a result of the company over-reliance on China, and a new focus on aspirational middle-class consumers, the stock had recently been trading at levels not seen in over two years. Things went from bad to worse this morning when the company reported its latest disappointing earning, in which it also slashed full year guidance, blaming a strong dollar, lower tourist spending, as well as "volatile, uncertain economic and market conditions in the U.S. and other regions."

Global Stocks Slide, Futures Drop After Turkey Shoots Down Russian Warplane

It had been a relatively quiet session overnight when as reported previously, the geopolitical situation in the middle east changed dramatically in a moment, when NATO-member country Turkey downed a Russian fighter jet allegedly over Turkish territory even though the plane crashed in Syria, and whose pilots may have been captured by local rebel forces. The news promptly slammed Turkish assets and FX, sending the Lira tumbling, pushing lower European stocks and US equity futures while sending 2 Year German Bunds to record negative yields.

The Fed Mafia Panics, as the World Dances on a Knife’s Edge

from The Wealth Watchman:
Can you Feel it?
We’re now getting headline after headline of tension: tension between superpowers, tension in economic data, and tension in the markets. Since the financial crisis, for the last 7 years, the Fed has been a regular “MacGyver”, holding the global financial ponzi together with crazy glue and baling wire. They’ve pulled off some big stick saves, but it seems that gravity and inertia have finally caught up with them.
For over the weekend, the very nervous American and world markets received this surprise announcement:

He Holds The Patent That Could DESTROY Monsanto And Change The World!

from EWAO:
If there’s anything you read – or share – let this be it. The content of this article has potential to radically shift the world in a variety of positive ways.
And as Monsanto would love for this article to not go viral, all we can ask is that you share, share, share the information being presented so that it can reach as many people as possible.
In 2006, a patent was granted to a man named Paul Stamets. Though Paul is the world’s leading mycologist, his patent has received very little attention and exposure. Why is that? Stated by executives in the pesticide industry, this patent represents “the most disruptive technology we have ever witnessed.” And when the executives say disruptive, they are referring to it being disruptive to the chemical pesticides industry.

US State Dept. issues travel warning for Americans over terror threats

from RT:

The US Department of State issued a worldwide travel alert on Monday, warning travelers of the potential risks of terrorism posed by the Islamic State, Al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, and other unaffiliated individuals inspired by the groups.
The alert referenced previous threats made against “large sporting events, theaters, open markets, and aviation services” and cited attacks in France, Nigeria, Denmark, Turkey, and Mali during the past year, as well as the downed Russian airliner over Egypt.
Encouraging US citizens to “exercise vigilance,” the State Department stressed that the holiday season and holiday-related festivities would be targets, saying citizens should “follow the instructions of local authorities” and follow updates in the media when planning to travel, prepare for additional security screenings, to stay in touch with family in case of an emergency, and register with the department’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP).

Using the TPP for Hostile Takeover of Mexican Agriculture

from Wolf Street:

Resisting Monsanto, the world’s largest, most influential GMO giant, is an almost impossible task. The corporation boasts more back channels and revolving doors with national governments and regulators than just about any other company on the planet, not to mention a fearsome army of corporate lawyers and lobbyists.
Few countries are more aware of this fact than Mexico, where a small collective of activist groups, scientists, artists and gourmet chefs have been engaged in a titanic legal struggle with Monsanto. Although they keep winning crucial battles, the war is still likely to be won by Monsanto, thanks to one key weapon in its arsenal: the Trans-Pacific Partnership.

Fractional-Reserve Banking is Pure Fraud, Part I – Jeff Nielson

by Jeff Nielson, Sprott Money:
This is a commentary which should never have needed to be written. What is euphemistically called “fractional-reserve banking” is obvious fraud, and obvious crime. By its very definition; it transforms the banking sector of an economy into a leveraged Ponzi-scheme, and as with all Ponzi-schemes, there is no possible “happy ending” here.
Mathematically-based principles are often illustrated best through use of an extreme, numerical example. We have no need to construct any hypothetical extremes, however, when we already have real-life insanity, in our current monetary/regulatory framework.

Feinstein: Terrorists Could Use Playstation to Communicate, and ‘There’s Nothing That Can Be Done About It’

by Melanie Hunter CNSnews:
Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, told CBS’s “Face the Nation” on Sunday that encryption is “the Achilles’ heel in the Internet” when it comes to tracking terrorists.
“[FBI] Director [James] Comey and I think [CIA Director] John Brennan would agree that the Achilles’ heel in the Internet is encryption, because there are now — it’s a black Web and there’s no way of piercing it. And it’s even in commercial products. PlayStation, John, which our kids use, if the two ends communicate, that’s encrypted,” said Feinstein. “So, terrorists could use PlayStation to be able to communicate, and there’s nothing that can be done about it.”
On July 8, CNN reported that Comey told a Senate panel in July that the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) used encrypted programs to evade detection by law enforcement. After the terrorist attacks in Paris, the New York Post quoted Belgian federal home affairs minister Jan Jambon on Nov. 16 as saying, “PlayStation 4 is even more difficult to keep track of than WhatsApp,” the cross-platform mobile messaging system for smartphones and BlackBerry devices.
