Rigging a primary can and does take many different forms. The
most effective form of rigging actually takes place in subtle ways via
long-exisiting Stalinist rules that normally don’t swing an election,
but serve as an effective firewall against outsider candidates when
they eventually do pose a threat. That way the
establishment can claim “it’s always been this way,” as if that’s a justification for shadiness.
This was the type of rigging we saw in New York, and the type we saw yesterday in California.
by Nathan McDonald, Sprott Money:
The mainstream media hates – rather, loathes – gold! They do this
because they no longer have the best interest of the people in mind, as
many people are coming to realize. They are not to be trusted and
ultimately, they are pushing an agenda.
This agenda is given to them through their masters, the politicians
and the financial elite, who both own the media outlets themselves and
give them their marching orders. The anchors are culprits, yes, as they
are doing unethical work, and should be ashamed of this. Yet, ultimately
they are only looking out for their jobs and are just talking
mouthpieces, not thinking minds.
It is sad to see this, as once upon a time, the mainstream media
reported on the news, no matter what the results. They did not take one
side as they now do; they followed the news and shared it to all, even
if they didn’t like the direction it was going.

Hillary Clinton was not having a very good morning yesterday. The New York Post had
devoted its full front cover
to suggesting that Clinton has a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde personality
disorder, based on an explosive new book by a former Secret Service
agent who was stationed directly outside former President Bill Clinton’s
Oval Office and is alleging outbursts and physical violence by the
former First Lady. The book has shot to number one on the nonfiction
bestseller list at Amazon.com, meaning more headwinds for the Clinton
campaign. On top of that, news was swirling that Senator Bernie Sanders
had a good shot of trouncing Clinton in the following day’s critical
primary in California, where a massive 475 pledged delegates are at
stake. (Five other states are also set to vote today in primaries: New
Jersey, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, and New Mexico.)

Last night, Associated Press – on a day when nobody voted – surprised
everyone by abruptly declaring the Democratic Party primary over and
Hillary Clinton the victor. The decree, issued the night before the
California primary in which polls show Clinton and Bernie Sanders in a
very close race, was based on the media organization’s survey of
“superdelegates”: the Democratic Party’s 720 insiders, corporate donors
and officials whose votes for the presidential nominee count the same as
the actually elected delegates. AP claims that superdelegates who had
not previously announced their intentions privately told AP reporters
that they intend to vote for Clinton, bringing her over the threshold.
AP is concealing the identity of the decisive superdelegates who said
this.

Donald Trump distanced himself from his own fundraising
estimate of $1 billion, refusing to commit to collecting even half that
amount, and saying his campaign didn't need much money to win the White
House. Instead Trump said he would rely instead more on his own star
power as a former reality-TV personality to earn free media, and has no
specific goals for how much money his campaign needs. All this
happened just as Marc Cuban to to twitter to taunt Trump that he would "grovel for that cash and will."
The problem, just like last quarter, is that the dramatic drop
in guidance has little to do with the company's (once again) sliding
stock price, or any of the excuses listed above, and everything to do
with the US consumer, who contrary to Wall Street expectations, simply
refuses to come out of his shell and spend.
Peer pressure is an interesting thing - sometimes it can make
you do foolish things that begin with you saying "here, hold my beer",
and ends with a good laugh among your friends. Sometimes
however, peer pressure can make you say things like "hey let me bet
this spread", and ends in giving your ex-wife the very last asset you
own.
"In this country, we do not really have democracy... I see the Republicans and Democrats and all they do is fight and scream at each other, [but the] policies never change. the personal fighting — is a
distraction from the real issue, which is personal liberty and the
bankruptcy of this country and the failure of our foreign policy. That’s where the problem is."
While details are still sparse, Bloomberg reports that a gunman
opened fire on Wednesday evening at the Sarona shopping center, a
bustling area in central Tel Aviv full of cafes, pubs and restaurants,
injuring at least nine people before being shot himself, police
confirmed.
Although oil has rebounded off the recent lows, the Saudi budget remains stretched
and in an attempt to help raise revenues in the short term (and
transition away from dependency on oil in the longer term), the
government is weighing an income tax on expat workers. There are nine million foreigners living and working in Saudi Arabia said Mufrej Al-Haqbani, the country's labor minister, and Finance Minister Assaf said that there are no plans to tax Saudi nationals.
"Democracy is a man-made system, meaning rule by the people for the people. Thus it is contrary to Islam, because rule is for Allaah... it is not permissible to give legislative rights to any human being..." So far, throughout history, and now in the world's 57 Muslim countries in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), nowhere has Islam been compatible with democracy, freedom of speech, human rights and legal certainty.
David Stockman, former director of the Office of Management and
Budget, discusses what’s at stake for the United States in the battle
for the White House between Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton... "we just can't handle four more years of Hillbama... Obamacare is a ticking timebomb..
and foreign policy is a disaster... at least Trump knows we are
bankrupt and can't afford to be the policeman of the world... Trump is a
flawed candidate from a style perspective but Trump's virtue is he is not schooled in 20 years of Washington delusions... We need a disruptor!"
Just imagine if this had been a Republican presidential
administration these past seven years. The media would have been all
over it like white on rice. However, for some very apparent reason, the liberal progressive media has dismissed or ignored scandals, faults, issues of deception, lies, abandonment of Americans to die, and tyrannical unconstitutional actions. Now the IRS has finally revealed its nefarious actions to us all – and it’s far worse than we thought.
Despite what the media try to tell you, as do the close
to 100% manipulated economic data emanating from various -tightly
controlled- sources, the economy is not growing, and it hasn’t for
years; the only thing that grows is debt. And you can’t borrow
growth. The single best thing to do for all of us not in positions of
politico/economic power is to recognize the irreversible collapse of the
system. Simply put, the whole shebang is broke.
At this point it is just funny really...
Yes, the voters are a nuisance.
Still, it pays to let the masses think they are in charge; you can get
more out of them that way and the welfare state only really worked as
long as people got something for nothing. Nothing-for-something will not be attractive to the voters.

200 men against 1,500 enemy troops.
They were never going to win. They fought anyway. Everyone died. It’s
a story that most Americans are vaguely aware of, but the tale of the
Alamo is seared into the heart of every Texan.
In losing the battle in such heroic fashion, the defenders rallied
others to the cause, helping the Tejanos defeat the Mexican army in
1836. Like that, the country of Texas was born. Nine years later, the
young nation joined the United States and became the only state to join
the union by treaty.
These few facts provide a sense of how many Texans (including my wife) view the world.
Defend the home. Defend the community. Stick together.
As I’ve noted many times, I rarely see Floridians wearing t-shirts
with the state flag, but every Texan I’ve ever met has a Texas flag
t-shirt in his drawer. They want everyone to know where they come from.

Smoke and Mirrors …… Shenanigans….. just a few of the terms applied to
how the government manages its money / budgets. After so many decades
of abuse, is there a reckoning coming? Most experts are convinced the
answer is yes.
Steve and his guest Catherine Austin Fitts take a closer look at
several decades of federal government financial finagling, and the very
possible failure of the economic “house of cards” we’re living with.
Fitts served as managing director and member of the board of
directors of the Wall Street investment bank Dillon, Read & Co.
Inc., as Assistant Secretary of Housing and Federal Housing[2]
Commissioner at the United States Department of Housing and Urban
Development in the first Bush Administration, and was the president of
Hamilton Securities Group, Inc., an investment bank and financial
software developer.

It’s becoming nearly impossible to cover such gargantuan, undeliverable positions without causing prices to explode.
by Andy Hoffman, Miles Franklin:
It’s early Wednesday, and I’m all fired up (just wait until I tape my
weekly Kerry Lutz podcast an hour from now); as, per the title of the
most passionate, vehement Audioblog of the 149 I have taped, May 18
th’s “FOMC Minutes Attack” has, in just three weeks time,
miserably failed.
As not only have gold, silver, and platinum already recouped more than
half of their blatantly Cartel-orchestrated “losses,” but the COMEX
“commercials” (i.e, the Cartel) barely covered any of their
all time high naked short positions, even if they started to, LOL,
try.
