Wealthy Have Nearly Healed From Recession; the Poor Haven’t … The Great Recession and the subsequent recovery from it have deepened the wedge between the very wealthy and everyone else in America, plunging the poor deeper into debt and wiping out two-fifths of the wealth held by families in the heart of the middle class. The wealthiest Americans, meanwhile, appear close to regaining all their losses over the same period, according to an analysis released last week by the Congressional Budget Office. – Washington Post
This analysis helps prove a point we’ve been making for years: Fed stimulation provided by too-low interest rates does NOT stimulate industry only finance and speculation.
The Congressional Report doesn’t seem to mention central banking, so in this article we will rectify the omission. The entire justification for central banking is that it helps policymakers produce prosperity. But it doesn’t.

Bloomberg may have banned me from their network for saying stuff like this, but at least they allow Carl Icahn on to say it.
by Matt Agorist, Activist Post:
Last week, Louisianians were hit with what meteorologists dubbed a ‘1,000-year’ flood. Tragic displays of people losing their homes, death tolls, images of destruction, and general chaos dominated mainstream media. However, when the rain stopped — so did the media’s coverage.
Prior to the media descending into the Cajun heartland to catch drive-by scenes of death and destruction, they were here to stoke further divide after three officers were tragically gunned down. Before that, the mainstream media were here stoking divide, using the tragic killing of Alton Sterling by Baton Rouge cops as their fodder.
When there was no more hate to propagate in a community reeling from three back-to-back tragedies, and the media couldn’t find anyone to blame, the talking heads rolled up their cords, got into their vans, and headed to the next disaster.

“We know exactly how to make fewer babies,” Rieder says
from The College Fix via Infowars:
In a Thursday story at NPR.org, Travis Rieder of Johns Hopkins’ Berman Institute of Bioethics says “[m]aybe we should protect our kids by not having them” in this precarious era of climate change.
The “tweedy jacket and tennis shoe-wearing” Rieder uses the year 2036 as a potential “tipping point” for “cataclysmic” climate change where the average global temperature will have increased by two degrees Celsius.
By that time, or perhaps a bit after, “the world is expected to add several billion people […] each one producing more [greenhouse gas] emissions.”
