A toxic trifecta for bondholders.

After shedding Treasuries for months, China’s holdings, now the second largest behind Japan, are down to $1.049 trillion.
At this pace, it won’t take long before China’s pile of Treasuries falls below the $1 trillion mark. It was China’s sixth month in a row of declines. Over the 12-month period, China slashed its holdings by $215.2 billion, or by 17%!

Pound Plunges After UK Retail Sales Crash Most Since 2011

The post-Brexit euphoria appears to have abruptly vanished in December as UK core retail sales plunged 2.0% month-over-month, the biggest drop since May 2011. Ironically, this crack in the 'Brexit Boom' occurred an hour before U.K. Chancellor of the Exchequer Philip Hammond told a Davos gathering on Friday that an inflation pickup will put a damper on consumers this year. Cable tumbled on the print (not helped by London home pre-sales plunging).

by Edmondo Burr, Your News Wire:
With only a a few hours left before leaving office it appears President Obama is not going to officially pardon Hillary Clinton for any crimes, since he has unofficially done so already.

Like Clinton’s Campaign, Will The Much-Hyped Inauguration Protests End Up Being A Giant Failure For The Left?

by Michael Snyder, The Economic Collapse Blog:
Over the past couple of months, the radical left has been endlessly hyping the protests against Donald Trump on January 20th and January 21st. We have been told that half the population absolutely hates Donald Trump and that Washington D.C. will be filled with angry protesters that are ready to take their country back. So where are they? The radical left tends to talk a good game, but when it comes time for action they often come up way short. At this point, it appears that the much-hyped “war in the streets” that they were promising is going to be a giant dud.

Trump vs. the CIA

by Paul Craig Roberts,

When I read Trump’s defenders, such as Daniel Lazare, having to balance their defense with denunciations of Trump, I think the CIA’s propaganda is working. In his article, Lazare asks the rhetorical question, “Is a military coup in the works?” He then goes on to describe the CIA and presstitute coup against Trump unfolding before our eyes.
Having described the unprecedented frame-up of the president-elect of the United States by the CIA and the Western media, Lazare has to square himself with those doing the frame-up:
“This is not to say that the so-called President-elect’s legitimacy is not open to question. . . . Trump is a rightwing blowhard whose absurd babblings about Saudi Arabia, Iran and Yemen reveal a man who is dangerously ignorant about how the world works.”

Legacy of Decline: “Goodbye To The Worst President” America Has Ever Had

by Mac Slavo, SHTFPlan:
Obama has been a puppet president and a force of anti-American ideology, preferring to treat people as plebs and dependents, rather than as independent and proud individuals.
Never before in U.S. history has the political and social landscape been so sharply divided, and so much power titled towards the wealthiest few who pull strings and hold all the power.
At its root, the Obama administration was a lot of hype, a lot of pomp and circumstance for a cult of personality figure. Underneath it all, Barack Obama was little more than a front man for the bankers and war mongers.

Video Shows How Media Hacks ‘Howled’ With Laughter At ‘Clown’ Trump

Here’s why fake news anchors are so butt hurt about Trump
by Steve Watson, Infowars:
On the eve of the inauguration of Donald Trump as the 45th President of The United States, the following video highlights just how wrong fake news readers were when they laughed and poured scorn on Donald Trump last year when he announced he was running for office.
The video, put together by the Media Research Center, shows just how utterly out of touch the fake news media has become with everyday Americans, most of whom elected Trump because he represents everything that these spoiled elitist wannabes do not.

Pesticide linked to Parkinson’s disease being sold in US, already banned in Europe

by Vicki Batts, Natural News:
ike other pesticides, paraquat has been the subject of controversy for some time now. In Switzerland, for example, the toxic substance has been banned since 1989. The rest of the European Union has followed the Swiss’ lead, including England — even though there is still a factory there where paraquat is manufactured for export. (RELATED: Follow more news headlines on pesticides at
Even China has phased out the use of paraquat. In 2012, the Chinese government announced that the pesticide would no longer be used in order to “safeguard people’s lives.” China is not a nation that is recognized for its environmental protection policies. If they’re concerned about this pesticide, it stands to reason we should be too.
And yet, for some reason, paraquat is still available in the United States — even in spite of the growing body of research that suggests it is an extremely harmful chemical that likely causes Parkinson’s disease.

Va. House Passes Resolution Calling Roe v. Wade Anniversary the ‘Day of Tears’

by Lauretta Brown, CNSnews:
The Virginia House of Delegates voted 57-36 Wednesday to adopt a resolution calling January 22nd, the day that the Supreme Court ruled that abortion was a constitutional right, a “Day of Tears in Virginia” and saying “that the citizens of the Commonwealth of Virginia are encouraged to lower their flags to half-staff to mourn the innocents who have lost their lives to abortion.”
“By making a visual step in support of life, hopefully we can help save lives,” Rockbridge Del. Ben Cline (R), who introduced the resolution, said at a news conference. “And ultimately, this is what that’s all about.”
Virginia House Democratic Caucus Chair Charniele Herring spoke on the floor just prior to the resolution’s passage, calling it “an insidious way to attack the dignity and privacy of women who have made a choice regarding their own life and health.”
