Awakened Humanity Should Be Thankful For Breaking Free From Mass Media

by Bernie Suarez, Activist Post:
Anyone who is awakened to the worldwide horrors the US, ISIS and their allies are imposing on the rest of humanity knows that the thing that makes these horrors worse is the accompanying deceptive mainstream media 24/7 lies. There’s nothing worse than seeing Western mainstream media continue to portray ISIS as if they are the “enemy” of the US, while the US military and Western-backed nations like Turkey, Israel, and Saudi Arabia continue to support ISIS. As a result, the ongoing bold lies and the obnoxious propaganda is further repelling awakened humanity from mainstream media and driving a permanent wedge between the freed human mind and the entire concept of Western propaganda. The whole thing is sickening and repulsive, and I believe freedom-loving humanity is responding to this worldwide.
The recent inundation of lies and over-the-top propaganda intended to lead us toward World War 3, is so obnoxious and mentally repelling that truth seekers can easily make a choice to separate themselves for an entire day (Thanksgiving day) to reminisce how fortunate we are to not be plagued by these ongoing lies. If you haven’t thought of this, I want to invite all truth seekers to do just that on this Thanksgiving day. Let’s turn off mainstream media and let’s be thankful for the awareness we have about the world around us. Let’s believe that there is a reason for the awareness. I believe humanity has a mechanism of self-preservation and we are the expression of that preservation. For that I am thankful today and so should you.

How Turkey Exports ISIS Oil To The World: The Scientific Evidence

Taxation As A Severe Insult

Consider how insulting it is! Why is the president of the country better qualified than we are to determine where our resources will do the most good? Why are members of Congress or local politicians? Who on earth do these folks think they are? Advocates of government wealth redistribution blatantly insult the rest of us by denying us the good sense it takes to spend our wealth.

"On The Cusp Of A Staggering Default Wave": Energy Intelligence Issues Apocalyptic Warning For The Energy Sector

The US E&P sector could be on the cusp of massive defaults and bankruptcies so staggering they pose a serious threat to the US economy. Without higher oil and gas prices — which few experts foresee in the near future — an over-leveraged, under-hedged US E&P industry faces a truly grim 2016.  "I could see a wave of defaults and bankruptcies on the scale of the telecoms, which triggered the 2001 recession."

Mark Dice Confronts America's Zombie Shoppers

What follows is Mark, armed with just a bullhorn, taking on several hundred consumption zombies waiting in line at Best Buy, armed with just their overdrawn credit cards, or as he calls them "enemies of America. A symptom of this failed country. When this country is bankrupt, and it will be soon, you look in the mirror and that's who you blame."

Diversification Is For Dummies - The Nifty Nine Never Mattered More

While the S&P languishes unchanged in 2015, these small groups of overwhelmingly propagandized stocks are up on average over 60%, but with a collective P/E of 45, they are not cheap (and perhaps should remember that when buying this momo, we are all Thanksgiving turkeys).

"Mysterious" Fire Hits Argentine Ministry Of Finance, Destroys Years Of Prior Regime's Files

"If you play with fire, you get burned," apart from if you are an official in the Argentine government it would appear. Just days after Argentina threw out the Peronists, who have ruled almost non-stop in the three decades since the end of military rule, The Ministry of Finance suffered a mysterious fire in its computer center, catastrophically (and coincidentally) destroying the prior-regime's files. This is not the first time a fire has destroyed government records - or second, or third, or even fourth...

China's Plunge Protection Team Now Owns 6% Of The Entire Chinese Stock Market

Friday's nearly 6% plunge on the SHCOMP left some market participants wondering where the plunge protection team was hiding in the final minutes of trading. As FT reports, Beijing's so-called "national team" now owns 6% of the entire mainland market and as we saw in September, the paper losses on that kind of portfolio can add up quickly when things go south. The question now is whether the PBoC will step back in if we have a few more days like today.

Dirty Connecticut Mayor (Sentenced To Prison For Corruption) Reelected In Landslide

After East Chicago re-elected an accused drug dealer and murderer as councilman, we thought the bar had dropped as low as it gets for the ignorance of an electorate. But, no! Bridgeport, Connecticut residents just took the proverbial biscuit by re-electing Mayor Joseph P. Ganim - who during his last 'reign' was convicted of 16 felonies including racketeering, extortion, and bribery.

Goldman's Meteoronomists Have A Dire Forecast: "Winter Is Coming"

With the winter of 2015 so far shaping up to be what some have dubbed "abnormally hot", we thought that at least this year the weatherconomists would keep their mouth shut: after all, if you blame cold weather for an underperforming economy, you better say nothing at all if the weather is warmer than usual as it has been in October and November. Alas, it was not meant to be, and so, without further ado, here are everyone favorite economweathermen from Goldman Sachs, warning everyone that, drumroll, yes, Winter Is Coming.

US Ally Saudi Arabia's New King Likes Beheading People More Than His Predecessor

At least 151 people have been put to death since Saudi Arabia's current King Salman rose to power after the death of King Abdullah in January 2015, dramatically higher than the total of 90 in 2014. As Amnesty International warns, "it is clear that the Saudi Arabian authorities are using the guise of counter-terrorism to settle political scores."

WTF Headline Of The Day: Anti-Gun Police Chief Urges Public To "Take Out" Active Gunmen If Possible

D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier is an outspoken proponent of gun control (in a district which already has some of the strictest gun laws in the nation). So, when asked by 60 Minutes how people should respond to being near an active gunman, Lanier's response was bemusing as The Washington Times reports, saying that the "best option for saving lives before police can get there" would be for citizens to try to subdue, or even kill, the gunman.

Obama Cites Mayflower Pilgrims in Thanksgiving Appeal for Syrian Refugees

from CNS News:
President Barack Obama appealed anew on Thanksgiving Day for acceptance of Syrian refugees, saying “so much of our greatness comes from our generosity.”
In his weekly radio address broadcast Thursday, Obama noted his commitment to accept an additional 10,000 Syrian refugees this year and argued that the policy is in keeping with U.S. tradition.
“Nearly four centuries after the Mayflower set sail, the world is still full of pilgrims,” he said, “men and women who want nothing more than the chance for a safer, better future for themselves and their families. What makes America America is that we offer that chance.”

Why The Obamacare Exchanges Are Failing

It's the kind of business plan that would be laughed out of a business school classroom. "The co-ops were essentially amateur exercises." Why not scrap the perverse ACA regulations and admit it was a pipe dream to ever assume young, healthy people could be coerced into paying several times their expected costs to cover other people’s excessive spending.

What the ‘Monsanto Law’ in South America has Done to Farmers’ Rights

by Christina Sarich, Natural Society:
If you want to know how Monsanto gets trade agreements in foreign countries without a truly democratic or legal process, you can look no further than South America for answers. Using antiquated laws and the North American Free Trade Agreements (NAFTA), one of the ‘most hated companies’ in the world has forced its wares into multiple South American countries without considering farmers’ rights, indigenous seed, or food sovereignty for millions of people.
The International Union for the Protection of New Varieties of Plants, or UPOV (and colloquially known as “The Monsanto Law” in South America), was initially established in 1961. It was likely never meant to protect companies like Monsanto in the way that it is today, though it was originally intended as a means of imposing common rules for recognizing and protecting the ownership of new plant varieties by plant breeders.

Hedge funds bail on Gold

from Truth in Gold:
Here’s another sign that investors are getting tetchy about the performance of precious metals such as gold and that a short squeeze is around the corner.
According to Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s weekly flows report, investors yanked $1 billion from precious metals funds in the week to Nov. 25, the chunkiest outflow in 17 weeks. Data this week were based on four days of fund flows as opposed to the normal five due to Thanksgiving holiday, the bank said.
Precious metal funds typically focus investments in companies that mine, explore or deal in gold and other metals such as silver and platinum, the prices of which have been under the cosh recently.

Hypocrisy: California Lt. Governor wants to Lead Fight against Gun Ownership – Surrounds Himself with Armed Security Paid with Tax Dollars

by Tim Brown, Freedom Outpost:

It’s amazing how elitist mindsets grow in people’s heads once they get into an office that is supposed to be an office of public service, not rule. Take California Lt. Governor Gavin Newsom (D) who is setting up to attack the rights of gun owners while spending millions of taxpayer dollars on armed security for himself.
Newsom, who was the former mayor of San Francisco from 2004 to 2011, spent millions on armed security, which came from taxpayers via city funds.
NBC Bay Area reports:
How much does it cost to protect the mayor of a major metropolitan city? In Los Angeles, about $450,000 a year. In Houston, about $339,00 [sic] a year. In San Francisco, anywhere between $1 and $72 million.

This is When You Should Buy Gold

by Jason Stevenson, Daily Reckoning:

What’s wrong with this world?
It seems a lot more uncertain than this time last year.
Terrorism is on the rise.
Geopolitical tensions are out of control.
And the global economy keeps falling apart. Now while this may seem common knowledge to some of us, only now are the institutions starting to wake up to smell the roses. According to CNBC, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has joined the ‘bad news’ reporting bandwagon:
