A Stunning Admission From A BOE Central Banker: This Is What The Coming "Helicopter Money" Will Look Like

“Consider for example a tax cut for households and businesses that is explicitly coupled with incremental Bank of Japan purchases of government debt – so that the tax cut is in effect financed by money creation”

Weekend Reading: Copious Contemplations

"After many years of ultra-accommodative polices, it is clear that ongoing interventions have failed to boost actual economic growth and only exacerbated the destruction of the middle class. It is clear that employment growth has only been a function of population growth, as witnessed by the ongoing decline in the labor-force participation rates and the surging levels of individuals that have fallen out of the work-force. While we will continue to operate to foster maximum employment and price stability, the reality is that the economy overall remains far to weak to sustain higher interest rates or any tightening of monetary policy."

Tech Bubble Unravelling: Square To Go Public At 30% Discount To Latest Private Round

One tech company realized today just how big the second "private" tech bubble, one we profiled first in January of 2014, truly is. That company is Jack Dorsey's Square, which earlier today filed a prospectus in which it said that the "initial public offering price per share of Class A common stock will be between $11.00 and $13.00." Assuming a mid-point price of $12 and applying the 322.9 million shares outstanding after the offering, it means a valuation of $3.9 billion.  The problem is that in its last private fundraising round, Square was valued at about $6 billion according to ReCode.

It's Official: The Baltic Dry Index Has Crashed To Its Lowest November Level In History

2015 has been an 'odd' year. Typically this time of year sees demand picking up amid holiday inventory stacking and measures of global trade such as The Baltic Dry Index rise from mid-summer to Thanksgiving. This year, it has not. In fact, it has plummeted as the world's economic engines slow and reality under the covers of global stock markets suggests a massive deflationary wave (following a massive mal-investment boom). At a level of 631, this is the lowest cost for Baltic Dry Freight Index for this time of year in history.. and within a small drop of an all-time historical low.

Today's Biggest Loser (& Winner) - Wal-Mart Heirs' Fortunes Revealed

If you think you're having a bad day (amid the post-payrolls turmoil), consider "America's richest woman" Christy Walton - the widow of Wal-Mart's John Walton. According to newly-released documents, her $32 billion wealth is actually around $5bn (as the assumption that John passed on the bulk of his wealth to his wife was wrong) plunging from 18th richest person in the world to just 280th. However, today biggest winner is her son, Lukas Walton who vaults to 103rd richest in the world as his fortune is revealed at $11 billion. Now those are first-world problems...

Ben Carson Admits His "Inspirational" West Point Scholarship Story Was Entirely Made Up

Having surged to the lead (according to some polls) in the GOP presidential nominee race, Ben Carson may have a problem. As Politico reports, Carson's campaign on Friday admitted that a central point in his inspirational personal story (his application and acceptance into the U.S. Military Academy at West Point) was fabricated. This admission comes as serious questions about other points of fact in Carson’s personal narrative are questioned, including the seminal episode in which he claimed to have attempted to stab a close friend.

OBAMACARE – THE GIFT THAT KEEPS ON TAKING

from The Burning Platform:

Isn’t it interesting the mainstream media makes barely a peep about the ongoing and worsening Obamacare debacle. Healthcare premiums, co-pays and deductibles are soaring, while doctor and plan choices contract to a minuscule level. Recent surveys reveal the hardship being inflicted upon families across the nation. Those who are willfully baffled by the lack of consumer spending need look no further than Obamacare and its impact on the budgets of hard working Americans.

According to a survey by LIMRA, an insurance and financial services trade association, six in 10 workers agreed that the rising cost of health insurance directly affects how much they set aside in their workplace retirement savings plan. Employees are being forced to cut back on their retirement savings in order to meet the skyrocketing cost of their health insurance. Based on the numbers being bandied about by the Kaiser Family Foundation, it seems average families will soon have to decide between food and healthcare.

Prepping for “Hybrid War” with Russia: NATO Holds Biggest Military Exercise in 13 Years

from The Daily Sheeple:

The biggest military exercise NATO has held in 13 years, “Trident Juncture” will end tomorrow.
DW.com claims that, even though 36,000 soldiers from various NATO countries including the U.S. have participated in the exercise to defend against “Russia’s military ambitions,” (or what other outlets are simply referring to as “Russian aggression”), the organization is actually at a big disadvantage against Russia, not only because its trying to coordinate 28 member states with different priorities, but Russia’s training events in the last two years have involved up to 80,000 soldiers, more than twice that of NATO.

The potential triggering event? On October 15th, she was given the flu shot at school.
Her mother, Brenda Faulk, said, “Eight hours later she was profusely vomiting and again Friday morning. Saturday, she was paralyzed from the waist down, blind and seemed like she had a seizure.”

China’s Economy, 2016: Biggest Threat Since Collapse of ’08

from Outsider Club:

Last year, CNBC ran a story citing some serious concerns brewing over in China — predicting a “perfect storm” to erupt in 2016.
Presently, news reports are echoing those concerns, calling the coming year a “nightmare” for China’s economy…
Although it’s hard to say exactly how much China’s economy is slowing down, we know it’s been enough to drag down stock markets the world over in recent weeks. So I highly doubt the country’s growing at 7% as the government has said.

The “War On Terror” Is The Hoax Foundation Of The Police/Spy State

from Paul Craig Roberts:

The “war on terror” was a hoax. Americans were deceived by policymakers, who are pursuing a hegemonic agenda. The American people were too trusting and too gullible and, consequently, Americans were easily betrayed by Washington and by the presstitute media.
The consequences of the deceit, gullibility, and betrayal are horrendous for Americans, for millions of peoples in the Middle East, Africa, Ukraine, and for Washington’s European vassals.
The consequences for Americans are an aborted Constitution, a police/spy state and rising resentment and hatred of America around the world.

Insiders Reveal FBI Has These 2 Bombshells Against Hillary Up Its Sleeve

from Western Journalism:

The FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of her private e-mail server while she was Secretary of State has revealed facts concerning top-secret emails that contradict the story Clinton has been peddling.
Clinton has denied ever using her private server for classified information. However, Fox News analyst Monica Crowley appeared on The O’Reilly Factor Wednesday night and told Bill O’Reilly a far different story. Crowley based her information on two FBI sources.
“As of now, at least 671 emails that Mrs. Clinton sent or received through her private server contained classified material,” Crowley said. “Of those, at least four documents are extremely problematic here in this investigation. Of those, two reached the highest classified designation, which is top secret.”
