Janet Yellen Warms up the Helicopters

by Michael Covel, DailyReckoning:
Look, up in the sky! It’s a bird! It’s a plane! No, it’s… it’s… Janet Yellen in a helicopter with bags of cash.
No kidding. That’s the Fed’s plan when the next recession hits. The Fed’s Dear Leader coming to the rescue with airdrops of free cash for everyone. What could possibly go wrong?
At a recent press conference, Federal Reserve Chairwoman Yellen admitted that the Fed would consider using “helicopter money” in an extreme downturn. What’s “helicopter money”?
It’s a phrase used to describe when governments print massive sums of money and then “drop” them on the economy… hoping for the best. Sound insane? It is.

Suicide Bomber Blows Himself Up In Front Of US Consulate In Saudi Arabia

After last night's massive suicide bombing in Baghdad which killed over 100, and which ISIS took responsibility for, we doubt the Islamic State will be just as quick to take credit for tonight's latest terrorist attempt, this time in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah, where a suspected suicide bomber was killed in front of the US consulate.

Upon Completing The World's Largest Radio Telescope, China Will Now Be Listening For Aliens

China has now completed construction on the world's largest radio telescope. The Single-Aperture Spherical Radio Telescope (FAST) as it is known, is an enormous dish made up of 4,450 reflector panels with a diameter of a half a kilometer. The task of the telescope? Simple - it is to be used to look for intelligent (or otherwise) life in deep outer space. Once operational, FAST will be able to detect radio signals from as far away as one thousand light years - evidently that's where the aliens are... and perhaps China is hoping trade with them will save the world.

The Curse Of Socialist Highways - How Government Ruins July 4th Travel

Unfortunately the travel before and after the 4th of July is a different story, with it widely considered one of the worst travel days of the year. While the desire to take advantage of the holiday to enjoy friends and family is a natural product of humans being inherently social creatures, the degree to which this congestion leads to headache and misery rests solely with the institution responsible for them during the rest of the year – the government.

Merkel To Get Rid Of Jean-Claude Juncker "Within The Next Year"

"The pressure on him [Juncker] to resign will only become greater and Chancellor Merkel will eventually have to deal with this next year,” an unnamed German minister told The Sunday Times, adding that Berlin had been furious with Mr Juncker “gloating” over the UK referendum result. Look no further than "Juncker Lashes Out At British Lawmakers: "Why Are You Here?"" for an example of just that.

Black Trump Supporter Exposes Truth About "The Black Vote"

German Arms Exports Nearly Double In 2015

Germany exported 7.86 billion euros ($8.75 billion) of arms last year (compared with 3.97 billion euros in 2014) including a controversial 1.6 billion euros sale to Qatar - the Gulf Arab state has been labeled by German opposition parties as an alleged source of funding for ISIS.

A Former NYMEX Trader Explains "The Mechanics Of Silver Manipulation"

What follows is how JPM manipulated the silver markets by selling the Silver contango during illiquid hours, then used their deep pockets to push settlements, then waited until margin calls made the large locals puke their positions. JPM in effect stretched the relationship between forward rates and futures spreads until they made no sense anymore. Not unlike a company trading at 50x earnings. It cannot last long. But it only has to last long enough until the guy with the position opposite you has to liquidate.

Czech President Wants Referendum on EU & NATO Membership

from RT:
The president of the Czech Republic, Milos Zeman, has called for a referendum on his country’s membership in the EU and NATO. Although Zeman wants to remain in both organizations, he wants the public to have a chance to “express themselves.”
Support for the EU is waning in the central European country. In April, a poll conducted by the CVVM institute showed that just 25 percent of the population is satisfied with their membership in the bloc, as cited by Reuters. Twelve months earlier, that figure had stood at 32 percent.

Humpty-Dumpty—–Teetering On The Eccles Building Wall

by David Stockman, David Stockman’s Contra Corner:
The Eccles Building trotted out Vice-Chairman Stanley Fischer this morning. Apparently his task was to explain to any headline reading algos still tracking bubblevision that things are looking up for the US economy again and that Brexit won’t hurt much on the domestic front. As he told his fawning CNBC hostess:
“First of all, the U.S. economy since the very bad data we got in May on employment has done pretty well. Most of the incoming data looked good,” Fischer said. “Now, you can’t make a whole story out of a month and a half of data, but this is looking better than a tad before.”
You might expect something that risible from Janet Yellen——she’s just plain lost in her 50-year old Keynesian time warp. But Stanley Fischer presumably knows better, and that’s the real reason to get out of the casino.

Two Nuclear Leaks In The United States, One Likely Worse Than Fukushima

from The Sleuth Journal:
This is absolutely disgusting to read about. When a radiation leak happens in Japan the whole world hears about it, but when not one but two radiation leaks happen in the United States no one does. There are radiation leak reports in Miami and New York, why is no one talking about it?
With a little digging, it’s not hard to find multiple sites around the U.S. which have been reported to leak, but since our grossly corrupt mainstream media doesn’t cover “real” news, and instead only acts as the propaganda arm for the Democrat Party, Americans remain clueless about many things they have every right to expect the media to report on. The following article and videos focus on the nuclear facilities located at Indian Point, which is just upriver from NYC, and the Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Station which sits adjacent to Biscayne National Park, Florida.

HERE WE GO: Tony Blair – “UK Should Keep Brexit Options Open”

from BBC:
Former prime minister Tony Blair has said “we should keep our options open” on the UK leaving the European Union.
He told the BBC the 48% who had voted to Remain felt “disenfranchised” and it was not clear “what we are moving to”.
He said that “if the will of the people shifts” as details of what Brexit means for the country begin to emerge, then, “Why shouldn’t we recognise that?”
Prime Minister David Cameron and Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn have both ruled out a second EU referendum.
When asked on Radio 4’s The World This Weekend whether “keeping our options open” meant a second EU referendum, Mr Blair replied: “It means whatever we decide it should mean as we see how this debate develops.”
But he said the case for leaving the EU had “crumbled”.

FEMA Wargamed Global Food Crisis… The Results Weren’t Pretty.

by Joshua Krause, Ready Nutrition:
One of the most frightening scenarios that anyone in the modern world could face, is a global food shortage. It’s one thing when just the country you live in faces a food shortage. That situation can have horrific consequences, as the citizens of Venezuela have learned recently. However, a global food crisis means that there is nowhere to run to. You can’t flee your home and become a refugee in a foreign land, and you can’t expect any other nation to send you aid.
All that’s left to do is endure for as long as you can, with whatever food you have stocked up and whatever rations the government can provide. Your absolute best case scenario involves living on a self-sufficient property, and very few people have that. And the people who are living self-sufficiently would have to live with the fear of being raided by hungry looters or an opportunistic government.
And that government by the way, may be your biggest concern during a crisis, because governments are typically only interested in their own self-preservation. The safety and prosperity of their citizens is a secondary concern. How your government reacts to the crisis could mean life or death for your family.

Elite Jiu Jitsu: Brexit May Not Be Formalized and a More Centralized EU Could Be Built Rapidly

from The Daily Bell:
The president of France has launched a scathing attack on Republican candidate Donald Trump, saying relations between the US and Europe would be complicated if the New York tycoon wins the White House. In comments that were surprisingly outspoken for a sitting head of state about another country’s political candidate, François Hollande urged Democrats to work to ensure the victory of Hillary Clinton. –UK Independent
The Brexit Vote and Hillary’s troubles are being broadcast by the mainstream media, which surely means they are thematic elements of a larger narrative.
Usually, in this modern era, reality is exactly the opposite of what’s taking place.
Let’s look at the Brexit first.

Clinton: "Chuck, I am not going to comment on the process. I have no knowledge, any timeline is entirely up to the department."
