from GlobalResearchTV:

The world looks on in horror as Hillary Clinton heads to Philadelphia to be nominated as the Democratic Party’s candidate for the presidency. Yet still the leading lights of the so-called “progressive” movement argue that it is the left’s duty to vote for this neocon warmonger. But the consequences of this strategy may well lead directly to nuclear war.

75 Percent Positive Response to Donald Trump Speech — So CNN Trashes Its Own Poll

by Patrick Howley, Breitbart:
CLEVELAND, Ohio – Donald Trump won the Republican nomination for president in Cleveland during a momentous week in political history.
On Thursday night, Trump gave a one-hour-and-fifteen-minute speech accepting the Republican nomination. The speech was so overwhelmingly well-received among the crowd that the media did not know what to do to tear it apart. Chyrons appeared on mainstream networks: “Trump Accepts Nomination.” Nothing scandalous.
CNN late-night host Don Lemon’s face was distraught during his panel, as was the face of one-time Ted Cruz employee Amanda Carpenter. Lemon’s show would play on the screens at public places without any sound, which was appreciated by the attendees.

Democrats Accuse Russia Of Hacking DNC Server To Help Donald Trump

"What is disturbing to us is that experts are telling us that Russians broke into the DNC, stole these emails and other experts are now saying that the Russians are now releasing these emails for the purpose of actually helping Donald Trump. I don't think it's coincidental that these emails were released on the eve of our convention here and that's disturbing."

Michael Hudson Exposes 2016's Real 'Class War': Krugman's Neocon Neoliberalism Vs Trump's Righteous Populism

"So this is really the class war. And it's the class war of Wall Street and the corporate sector of the Democratic side against Trump on the populist side...Krugman has joined the ranks of the neocons, as well as the neoliberals, and they're terrified that they're losing control of the Republican Party. For the last half-century the Republican Party has been pro-Cold War, corporatist. And Trump has actually, is reversing that. Reversing the whole traditional platform. And that really worries the neocons..."

Foreign Buyers Continue to Inflate Global Residential Real Estate Bubbles - This Will End Badly

We have frequently talked about the negative future consequences of hot international money chasing “safe” foreign real estate investments. As such, our interests were piqued to discover that the average price paid by Chinese investors in US residential real estate for 2016 continued its meteoric rise to $937k from $832k in 2015, a mere 20% CAGR since 2011 vs. only 4% for the U.S. market overall. They must see something the rest of us are missing.

G-20 Meeting Ends With Rising Discord Between China And US

While the G-20 group traditionally tries to put on a united front, a curious divergence emerged following the latest meeting in China, where as Bloomberg notes Chinese and U.S. officials "showed signs of being at odds on how synchronized efforts to boost global growth need to be, with China stressing the need for improved coordination more than the U.S."U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob J. Lew on Thursday talked down the need for crisis-level coordination as he headed to Chengdu, China, for the meeting.

Texas Sheriffs Raid Raw Milk Exchanges… Real Country FOOD From a Cow is Now Illegal in Texas

by Ethan A. Huff, Intellihub:
Buying milk about as close to nature as it gets – directly from the cow – is still a punishable offense in many areas of the U.S., and residents of the Houston, Texas, suburb of Katy were reminded of this recently, after being paid a visit by police officers for the “crime” of buying and selling raw dairy products on private property.
According to reports, county health inspectors in cahoots with a police entourage raided a raw milk exchange taking place in the parking lot of Holy Apostles Church, a drop-off point where area residents come to pick up raw milk they’ve legally purchased from nearby farms. Sheriff’s deputies broke up the gathering, despite the fact that it in no way violates the law concerning raw milk sales in Texas.

Every year, millions more Americans learn about the benefits of eating organic foods. Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) in our crops and foods are becoming less and less popular, as more research and information is conducted and published detailing how harmful they are to humans.
That said, while all organic food is better than GMO-produced food grown with dangerous herbicides and pesticides, some foods have more health benefits than others. Count organic plums as one of the more healthful foods you should be adding to your diet.

Weekend Edition: Doug Casey on “Brexit”

by Doug Casey, Casey Research:
On June 23, the UK had a referendum in which 52% of voters opted to leave the European Union. I applaud Britain for leaving the corrupt, costly, and dysfunctional EU. It may be the best thing that’s happened to Europe since the end of World War 2. And, I think, it signals the start of some major new trends.
In principle, the idea of the European Union sounded good. All the signatory countries joined a customs union so goods and people could flow freely.
The idea was to both increase general prosperity and decrease the chances of another war. It sounds very libertarian—in principle. But in practice it turned out very differently. And may wind up doing the opposite of its intended purpose.
