Mike Flynn Tells FBI He Will Testify In Exchange For Immunity...

Mike Flynn, President Donald Trump’s former national security adviser, has told the FBI and congressional officials investigating the Trump campaign’s potential ties to Russia that he is willing to be interviewed in exchange for a grant of immunity from prosecution.

"He Certainly Has A Story To Tell" - Statement From Mike Flynn's Lawyer

"[Flynn] is now the target of unsubstantiated public demands by Members of Congress and other political critics that he be criminally investigated. No reasonable person, who has the benefit of advice from counsel, would submit to questioning in such a highly politicized, witch hunt environment without assurances against unfair prosecution."

Trump May Be Right: The 'Five Eyes' Allies Do Spy On One Another

The GCHQ and the British government have cried foul over reports they surveilled Trump’s transition team on behalf of the Obama administration. However, there is a wealth of historical information on such cooperation between the 'Five Eyes'. The fact that GCHQ squawked publicly about it being implicated in political eavesdropping makes it more likely that it was caught red-handed.

EU Chief Threatens Trump For Supporting Brexit; Vows To "Promote" Break Up Of U.S.

"A lot of people would like it that way.  Even people on another continent where the newly elected U.S. President was happy that the Brexit was taking place and has asked other countries to do the same.  And, if he goes on like that, I am going to promote the indenpendence of Ohio and Austin, Texas in the United States of America."

Margin Debt Hits New Record High But Analysts Say "Don’t Worry"

"This isn’t a signal to me that markets are reaching an exuberant level like they did in the 1920s or 1990s, when speculation was rampant.  What our clients are doing is borrowing against the portfolios because interest rates are so low. They’re not leveraging up because they see the market exploding to the upside; they’re using leverage because they can pay it off at any time.”

Fed's Dudley: "I Don’t Think We Are Removing The Punch Bowl Yet"

"William McChesney Martin, the ninth chair of the FOMC, once famously opined that the Federal Reserve is “in the position of the chaperone who has ordered the punch bowl removed just when the party was really warming up.”  I don’t think we are removing the punch bowl, yet.  We’re just adding a bit more fruit juice."

Huge 300,000 Bpd Fracklog Could Derail Oil Price Recovery

Thousands of drilled shale wells are sitting idle, unfracked and uncompleted.  Wood Mackenzie estimates that if the Permian Basin’s DUC list was completed, it would add 300,000 bpd in new supply.  That supply sitting on the sidelines will put downward pressure on any new oil price rally.

RBC: Two Things Are Behind Today's Rally

"With the ‘hawkish Fed/dovish ECB’ scenario, the USD is experiencing ‘signs of life.’  In turn, this could in fact reinvigorate ‘US domestic reflation’ trades which had been on life-support or unwound outright over the prior weeks / months."

Yet, the top opioid prescription manufacturer, which is located in McCaskill’s home state is missing from the initial list of companies she’s investigating.

The Surveillance State Behind Russia-gate

by Bill Binney and Ray McGovern, Washington’s Blog:
Binney is the NSA executive who created the agency’s mass surveillance program for digital information, who served as the senior technical director within the agency, who managed six thousand NSA employees, the 36-year NSA veteran widely regarded as a “legend” within the agency and the NSA’s best-ever analyst and code-breaker, who mapped out the Soviet command-and-control structure before anyone else knew how, and so predicted Soviet invasions before they happened (“in the 1970s, he decrypted the Soviet Union’s command system, which provided the US and its allies with real-time surveillance of all Soviet troop movements and Russian atomic weapons”).

Geoengineering, in other words, just moved one colossal step closer to reality, on a massive scale, but what some scientists see as a viable, cost-effective solution, at an estimated $10 billion, others see as a nightmarish development — which could eventually spawn catastrophic drought.

Monsanto’s Terrible Secrets Are Tumbling out as Company Faces Wave of Cancer Lawsuits

by Joshua Krause, Ready Nutrition:
In 2015 the World Health Organization declared that glyphosate, the world’s most popular herbicide, is probably carcinogenic. That declaration has since become a serious chink in the armor of Monsanto. It was one of the first times that a reputable institution suggested that maybe, Monsanto’s best-selling herbicide could be bad for human health. In fact, the company’s first response to that claim was that every other regulatory agency in the world had seen the same data as the WHO, and none of them thought that glyphosate was harmful.

by James Holbrooks, The Anti Media:
South China Sea — Adding fuel to an already highly combustible situation in Southeast Asia, Reuters reported Tuesday that China has “largely completed major construction of military infrastructure on artificial islands it has built in the South China Sea,” and that the Asian superpower “can now deploy combat planes and other military hardware there at any time.”
Citing satellite imagery analyzed by the Asian Maritime Transparency Initiative, part of Washington, D.C.’s Center for Strategic and International Studies, the news agency writes that “work on Fiery Cross, Subi and Mischief Reefs in the Spratly Islands included naval, air, radar and defensive facilities.”
