When Does The U.S. Stock Bubble Burst: The Best Hedge Fund Of 2016 Has A Surprising Answer

"One of the curious things over the last few years, is that despite the last two bubbles in markets being mainly US centred (dot com bubble and US housing) it has been the Japan based Nikkei that has peaked 3 to 6 months before the S&P 500. The Nikkei peaked in March of 2000, while the S&P 500 rolled lower in August of that year. The Nikkei peaked in June of 2007, while the S&P 500 peaked in October of that year."

Jihad In Brussels

"[T]he most important factor is Belgium's culture of denial... Observers who point to unpleasant truths such as the high incidence of crime among Moroccan youth and violent tendencies in radical Islam are accused of being propagandists of the extreme-right, and are subsequently ignored and ostracized."

Countdown To Insolvency Begins For Chicago Pensions As State Supreme Court Rejects Reform Bid

“While their contributions will diminish slightly, the condition of the funds will revert back to something that is totally unsustainable and in danger of being completely insolvent within 10 to 15 years. Hundreds of millions in savings from rationalized pension benefits will be lost that will either have to be made up from reductions in city services, increased taxes or by allowing these funds to further deteriorate."

The Streak Is Over - Stocks Suffer Down Week 'Despite' Bombings, Hawks, & Dismal Data

SURPRISED? BELGIAN GOVERNMENT KNEW TERROR ATTACK WAS COMING

from The Daily Sheeple:

On the surface, there really isn’t anything mysterious about Tuesday’s terrorist attack in Brussels. Belgium carried out a small bombing campaign against ISIS last year, and roughly 100 of their military personnel remain in the Middle East in advisory roles. Couple that with the fact that Belgium has a sizeable migrant population from the Middle East, and many of their urban neighborhoods have become no go zones for the authorities, and it becomes shocking that an attack like this didn’t happen sooner.
The country is so out of control, that it has become a breeding ground for Islamic terror groups who use the country as a staging area for future attacks against Europe.

The Broadest US Equity Index Is Hitting Resistance

Time will tell whether today’s selloff is the precursor to a real cannonball shot to the gut of the post-February rally, or merely a glancing blow. The cannonball scenario probably should not be dismissed, however, since the weakness is occurring from the right price levels.

What Oil Production Freeze: Russia Just Revealed The Laughable Loophole In The OPEC "Agreement"

Russia will export more oil to Europe in April than it has in any month since 2013 - despite Moscow's plan to sign a global agreement on freezing production in a bid to lift the price of crude. Asked what would be covered by the agreement, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak told reporters: "The discussion is only about freezing production. And not exports." In other words, the global supply glut is about to get even worse thanks to the likes of Russia, which is about to unleash an additional 2.4 million tonnes of ooil exports onto a world which is already drowning in excess oil.

US Marines Enter Ground Combat in Iraq to Defend Oil Fields

Even as Pentagon officials have sought to emphasize their claims of ISIS being “on the run,” ever more US ground troops are being deployed into Iraq to try to cope with ISIS offensives, with the battle of Makhmur leading to the introduction of US Marines in front-line combat roles.

Surviving a Terror Attack: Strategies To Save Lives If the Worst Happens: “Run, Hide, Fight”

by Mac Slavo, SHTFPlan:

Terrorism is a fact of life.
The political causes and effects of it are complex, and the reaction is often used in politically expedient ways. In other words, the default is to use fear to sell an agenda – perhaps for war, security measures, diplomatic pressure.
Regardless, the chances of being caught up in the scene of an attack is very low.
But if you do find yourself in such a situation, here are some strategies to maximize your chances of survival, avoid disaster, fight back or flee and hopefully help other would-be victims get out of the way.

A Random Walk Through The Risks of Silicon Valley

by epaminondas, Survival Blog:

As a technology executive who has worked extensively with most of the big, high-tech firms (Microsoft, Google, Verizon, Dell, Qualcomm, and more), I thought that it could be helpful to share a perspective on the general role of technology on prepper thinking and planning. This readership is much more sophisticated than most, but the hard fact is that most of us cannot live an independent, off-grid lifestyle for a variety of reasons. Technology is the great enabler and force multiplier that can make it much easier to work remotely, maintain close contact with family and friends while benefiting from the vast knowledge of the Internet.

Why Islam Lops Off Heads, Christianity Doesn’t, and Trump Is Right

from The Burning Platform:

As an introduction to this article, I would like for you to ask yourself the following question; — “What is life like in a western nation where Muslims are at least 10% of the population?”. To get an honest appraisal of that question, please click here regarding how “multi-culturalism” is working out in Sweden. At least scan the article.
Horrific, is it not? But, it shouldn’t be surprising. Not when one considers the statistical fact that since September 11, 2001, followers of the Religion of Peace have committed more than 27,000 deadly terrorist attacks in the name of Islam. Neither is it surprising that Danish linguist Tina Magaard, after leading a team of researchers who for three years studied the texts of the holy books of the world’s ten biggest religions and interviewed 45,000 subjects concluded that; —-
